Arif Ali made his Bollywood debut as a dialogue writer for Abhay Deol starrer Ahista Ahista. His elder and now a very successful director brother Imtiaz Ali had written the story for the same.
Lekar Hum Deewana Dil marks the directorial Debut of Arif Ali. The film deals with decisions made by a young couple and how it changes their lives forever.
The film also introduces Raj Kapoor's grandson Armaan Jain opposite Deeksha Seth. Will the Kapoor clan see another star shining, remains to be seen. The film releases 4th of July. The highlight is the music by A.R Rahman.
